  • At the moment the information of the Heroic version of this instance is also noted in here.
  • To get access to the advanced- and challenge-version, you must have defeated the boss-mob Vleecan Fele in the normal heroic version.
  • The path of the challenge zone is different to the solo and normal-heroic version.

Steps[]

Note: You can bypass the first Diaku defense line at the beach by swimming through the water.

  1. Defeat that sleeping Diaku Brutto Ucot-634, 28, -374 ) Copy to "open" the first bridge.
    • Brutto Ucot is sleeping. Double-click or right and kick him to wake him up.
    • During the fight your toon will shout "Brutto, you RAT!" to which Brutto Ucot says "Ya want rats? I got rats!" and Brutto Ucot becomes invulnerable, and at least one a pet rat will spawn beside one box

      (Heroic: two boxes) in that area. An additional rat will spawn periodically until you close the box(es) with the wooden lid

      by right-clicking and move it onto the open box, at which time the rats join the fight. After defeating all rats you can damage Brutto Ucot again.
  2. On your way to the next gate ( -742, 62, -531 ) Copy, attack all 5 non-aggro a succulent singer

    and defeat them so that the "last" the succulent singer spawns in front of the gate. This is the trigger-mob of The invisible Swordsman, which is needed to open the gate.
  3. Defeat The invisible Swordsman.
  4. Defeat the 3rd named-boss lady Elga Upo
    • During the fight Elga Upo disappears every 20% health drop (Heroic: every 10%) with a riddle on the lips which describes the pinata-figure

      (locations differs for each fight vs her!) you have to attack.
      • "Ever see one fly? I hear some even got them a horn!" --> Pegasus
      • "Y'know we got us one penned up, but ain't go no wings..." --> Lion eagle (by the way: she describes Sergio you will fight later)
      • "I'don't see how it beat no hare in a race..." --> Turtle
      • "Oooh I'm hungry like a..." --> Wolf
      • "Dang but they give me the creeps!" --> Spider
      • "Quit yer badgerin'" --> Badger
      • "They comin' up through the sand! Eeee!" --> Crab
      • "Hop to it!" --> Rabbit
      • "Hey Honey!" --> Bear
    • If you attack the wrong figure, a group of 4x a little surprise spawns immediately and attacks you.
    • Heroic: As you get a lot of DOT damage as long as Elga Upo is disappeared, try to fight vs her always in the middle of the long way so that you do not have to run too long to the required pinata figure. By this tactic you give your healers a chance to recast heals.
  5. Gather Gattley's wrench after defeating the Joro siblings Tinboe Joro & Banstee Joro and their sister Morna Joro-543, 62, -651 ) Copy.
    • The Joro siblings can only be damaged when...
      • Solo: ...they stand close together. It doesn't matter with which you start.
      • Heroic: ...they are separated. (e.g. perma-root one of the brothers until the other is defeated)
    • Morna Joro only takes damage when other two Joro siblings are defeated.
    • During the fight you have to play a memory-like-game on that cow (see picture). Get on the cow to start. There is a timer - if you aren't fast enough, you lose. If you time out, it kicks you off the cow and you have to start again. The fight will not progress until you win. For the Solo, you may want to bring a healer - you still take damage during the game.

      Double-Click the right number of black and white cows to win. Each round the game will tell you how many to find. Avoid the colored ones. First round you need to Double-click two. Bell position will change when you've selected it correctly.

      • WARNING: If you can not see the "memory-like-game" you have to turn up your Maximum Particle Size (in (Advanced) Options\Display\Particle Effects). The larger you make the maximum size, the larger the cow faces will appear.
  6. Defeat the lion Sergio to open the gate to Bossman's Redoubt
    • Sergio takes damage only INSIDE his cage.
      • He won't take damage unless you and your compadre are both present.
    • Sergio kicks you, sometimes also out of his cage. He will follow you...
    • Periodically you will get cursed which drains your power and disarms you.
      • The disarm curse can only be cured inside the cage BUT...
      • ...the power-drain curse can only be cured OUTSIDE the cage.
      • This mana-drain curse sometimes follows immediately an other in-cage-cureable curse.
      • Note: Be warned: Your greatest enemy during the fight is the swing door of the cage.
      • Heroic: At least 3 groupmembers must be in the cage to be able to make damage.
  7. Defeat Vleecan Fele, in Bossman's Redoubt-637, 61, -496 ) Copy.
    • Hint: Clear at least all trashmobs in front of Vleecan Fele as you need that room for the script event during the fight.
    • During the fight Vleecan Fele spawns four adds "a Diakaroo bulldozer", "a Diakaroo regulator", "a Diakaroo desperado", and "a Diakaroo sawbones" when he's at about 80%, 60%, 40% and 20% health (Heroic: every 10%). These adds do NOT attack you automatically, you must find them in the area of Bossman's Redoubt. Vleecan Fele is invulnerable until a specific add is killed (Note: All other adds despawn after the correct one is killed). He will give you a clue as to which one it is.
      • "Let's see if you lot can do more 'an heal, huh?" --> a Diakaroo sawbones (priest-type)
      • "I've always taken a likin' to you backstabbers! Hah!" --> a Diakaroo desperado (scout-type)
      • "Yeah, come on! Summon the fire and ice and all o' that!" --> a Diakaroo regulator (mage-type)
      • "You can take a lickin', but so can I! Come on! Hit me!" --> a Diakaroo bulldozer (fighter-type)
      • Heroic: While Vleecan Fele has informed you which specific add you have to find and defeat, Vleecan Fele will become immune to any other damage type then of that specific add-type.
      • Heroic: Do not fight in front of Vleecan Fele has it has a effect, that increases the damageoutput and dramatically at 5 increaments. This effect can be cured, each cure reduces the effect by. Mulitple cures possible. Warning: If it reach 5 stacks, the effect can only by cured by arcane cure anymore.
    • Additionally in the middle of the fight (50% HP of Vleecan Fele) the hole in the middle of the area is opened and "wind" will "push" you in that direction. Down there are some sharks (epic x4) waiting for you.
    • Safe spot "vs the wind" is to stand on one of the barricade (see picture)

    • Hint: If you duo and one of you "visits" the sharks, survives and run then up all the way back to the fight you will find the gates of Bossman's Redoubt closed. BUT you can port (e.g. by an attack ability with porting) into the Bossman's Redoubt. You do not have to reset the encounter.
    • Fast-exit: Use the cannon
