Mairen had been turned into a werewolf. Before I deliver the news of her death to Piccolo, I should investigate the situation a bit more.

Materials Required

Steps

1. Speak with Renfry to receive Mairen's Note.
2. Leave the basement and return to Forlorn Gist by clicking on the door at ( 0, 0, 29 ) Copy/waypoint 0, 0, 29.
3. Use Illusion: Werewolf once in Forlorn Gist
   • The illusion should prevent any nearby creatures from showing up as hostile, at least in the area around Little Town and District of Night
   • If the illusion is accidently lost through any means, visit Ziggy ( -21, 0, 13 ) Copy/waypoint -21, 0, 13 (Fuel Merchant) in Renfry's Basement to purchase another Illusion: Werewolf for 1p
4. Collect several items by clicking special sparkling "nodes" around the area:
   • Note: The items can be found all around Little Town and District of Night, and they do respawn within a few minutes
   • 27 twisted bits of metal

     

   • 33 wooden scrap
   • 6 shredded werewolf fur
   • 21 dirt-encrusted stone
   • 6 desiccated bones
   • 12 ectoplasmic goo
   • 6 cocooned critter
   • 12 sturdy spiderweb
   • 21 animated roots
5. Return to Renfry in Renfry's Basement ( -363, 16, 78 ) Copy/waypoint -363, 16, 78 to receive Recipe Scroll: Gist Crafting
6. While the now-fed Renfry makes more werewolf illusion potions, I am tasked with my most difficult recipe yet - one for an all-purpose crafting station
   • Use the Rickety Crafting Table at ( -18, 0, 21 ) Copy/waypoint -18, 0, 21 inside Renfry's Basement
   • Items should be crafted in the order presented by the quest
   1. Craft Sturdy Station Base
   2. Craft Bobbing Tabletop Thingie
   3. Craft Esoteric Tools
   4. Craft Scroll of Equipment Enhancement
   5. Craft Far Seas Crafting Station
      • Crafting this item requires paying careful attention to the six different counters (not three pairs of matching icons like normal crafting), which are unique/unusual, so craft with care and focus.
      • Failure to counter while crafting may result in death, however the crafting components will re-appear in your bag upon reviving. You will need to right-click to unpack them, though, before trying again...
7. Return to Renfry, who will provide you with Renfry's Attunement Stone
8. Speak to Piccolo ( 638, 7, 530 ) Copy/waypoint 638, 7, 530 at Svarni Gateway in Svarni Expanse, who takes Mairen's Note
9. Speak to Rithsar ( 641, 7, 532 ) Copy/waypoint 641, 7, 532, who takes Renfry's Attunement Stone
