- Speak to Glavarius Marud in Kelethin (293, 109, 94).
- Travel to the Down Below under Qeynos.
- Enter the Crows Resting Place, Thieves Guild (-143.50, 0.90, -72.10).
- Speak to Fippy Darkpaw the Fourth in the back room.
- Click one of the tables in the front room to get a king's field ace.
- Speak to Fippy again and give him the ace and 5 gold.
- Travel to Nektulos Castle
- Harvest a note in the basement. (-41.60, -13.40, -57.60)
- Travel to Fallen Gate
- Inspect a crate in the market area. (167,18.50, -83)
- Examine the 3 notes in your inventory.
- Travel to the Chessboard in Butcherblock Mountains
- Inspect one of the chess tiles. (-787.60, 101.30, -16)
- Travel to Butcherblock Bay and kill any aqua goblins till you get an update.
- Inspect gem in inventory.
- Travel to the Crushbone Keep area of Greater Faydark.
- Go down the right most mining shaft and speak to a punished magi apprentice. (-1620.38, 48.14, -30.53)
- Enter Crushbone Keep and kill 4 a cleric of hate for updates.
- Return to a punished magi apprentice.
- Enter Crushbone Keep and enter the instanced zone D'Vinnian Throne Room.
- Kill sentries to get the keys to the doors in the zone.
- Kill Oracle N'Mare for quest completion (-82.75, -9.80, -178.50).
