Welcome to EQ2i

Hello and welcome to EQ2i! Thank you for your contributions, especially your recent edits to the Chestguard of the Enlightened page. We hope you decide to stay. Please edit to your heart's content and don't worry overmuch about using templates or "getting it right." If you're unsure of how to use any of our templates at the site, don't panic! Just start a new article and place {{wikify}} at the top of the page. Another editor will take care of the rest. Here is some general information you might find useful:

And here are some very basic editing tips:

  • If you need something deleted, place {{delete|the reason here}} on the top of the page.
  • If you see something where you know the name is not right, use the "move" link to change the name of the page.
  • If you find a page name that you are unsure if it has the correct name, place {{CapCheck|suggested correct spelling}} on the top of the page.
  • For information that you would like others to verify in-game use {{FactCheck|what you need checked}}.
  • And if all else fails and you're just not sure what to do, place {{Admin Needed|the reason here}} on the top of the page. There is also the "Report Problems" link that should appear on all pages; it is a help-ticket system that all wikis are using.

If you need any additional help, just drop by my talk page or any of the admin's talk pages. We'd be glad to help.

Don't Worry :) Edit

Hi there, and welcome! Don't worry about the user pages -- we've fixed the template and I've moved the information you had on the other page to your user page at User:Jaeyne. If you'd like to add more information (about particular characters for example) we have another template for that called Template:CharacterInformation -- you just copy the text under the "Sample" to your user page and fill in the blanks between the = and the |. The templates and code on the wiki are a little odd in how you use them, so if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask :) --lordebon 18:15, February 24, 2011 (UTC)

Gah thank you for fixing it .. I made quite a mess and went running to Chillspike to fix lol. -Jaeyne

Images Edit

Thanks for the images you uploaded, if possible try to use the following naming for the images when you upload em.

  • The examine window should have the same name like the Article has => Article name
  • The running version of the flying mounts should have Article name + (Running)
  • The flying version of the flying mounts should have Article name + (Flying)

I think in this way we can handle the screenshots in a good way =)
Oh and if possible plz upload them without your name (or other names) visible in the screenshot
Anyway .. we are still able to fix those things later on, so now worries =)

Ah. Sorry .. still new to this wiki thing and trying my best to keep the site updated with knowledge I learn in game. I'm a little obsessed about the flying mounts (can't you tell?) and wanted to provide enough details so folks could pick and choose as they did it themselves. -- Jaeyne

Updateing images Edit

You can replace an uploaded image if you go to the image and use the Link "Upload a new version of this file" at the buttom of the article to update the image, every article that used the old image will show the new image without changing the links in this way. -- ChillispikeSig  Chillispike-bubble 14:32, February 27, 2011 (UTC)
