The season is upon us once more: Frostfell is back until 7am on January 8th, so grab your daily gift from Santa Glug and spread some Frostfell cheer! Best wishes from all of us here at EQ2i this holiday season and for the start of the new year.
On an unrelated note, there's a pretty significant shift to how AAs are gained up until 280, as well as the perhaps long overdue removal of experience and rewards from Dungeon Maker. See EQ2 Senior Producer Holly Longdale's post on the SOE forums for details!Read more >
Did you know: the Altar of Malice (AoM) Beta is now open to everyone! Details on accessing Beta are available on the Official Forums, as well as a look at some of the nice mount rewards that will be granted on live for anyone completing Solo Quest, Heroic Dungeon, and Tradeskill Quest content sets during Beta.

I'm pleased to say that thanks to the tireless efforts of a few users in adding information we have the expansion pretty well covered. Come Tuesday, the Vesspyr Isles Timeline and Tears of Veeshan Crafting Timeline will be waiting to guide you through the new content.Read more >
It's another sad day for EQ2 and SOE, as the latter has announced layoffs in both it's San Diego and Austin offices yesterday afternoon. It seems that it's mainly SOE's older titles, including EQ2, that are taking the hit. Support positions also seem to be hit, with the lightly used international official subforums for EQ2 closing down.
EQ2i extends our heartfelt gratitude for past service and best wishes for the future to all those laid off today.Read more >
