Prerequisites

• Must be level 75+ to get this quest.

Steps

1. Retrieve 8 odd mechanical pieces (see the talk page for a list of possible spawn points)
   • Note that some appear as small cogs, and difficult to see because they are almost the same color as the ground. If you have this problem then you need to 'look' at the spot where the waypoint-whisp vanishes, and move carefully around until you see the cog appear so you can harvest it.
2. Return the pieces to Gabblin at Dropship
3. Search the libraries in Qeynos or Freeport for information on this time machine
   1. South Qeynos mage tower, red portal, manual (single blue book) on the floor to the south of two large stacks of books ( 706, 42, 104 ) Copy/waypoint 706, 42, 104 or North Freeport, a blue book near the far back corner on the bottom shelf of the bookcases along the wall ( 30, -7, -134 ) Copy/waypoint 30, -7, -134
   2. Examine the note in your inventory
   3. Speak to an enchanter. Melinnae Welxen, South Qeynos mage tower, blue portal ( 712, 35, 139 ) Copy/waypoint 712, 35, 139 or R'dyles Mar'dril in the North Freeport mage guild ( 0, -7, -135 ) Copy/waypoint 0, -7, -135
   4. Enter The Ruins of Guk: The Lower Corridors and search for clues. Pick up a scroll in a cell near Hoptor Thagglor, ( -244, -54, -130 ) Copy/waypoint -244, -54, -130
      • Note: if Guk beasties are gray, suggest mentoring, or Aruze Vleese will not drop chest which contains key to Jail area.
4. Find someone who deals in Rarities for more info.
   1. Talk to Ukaskis the Trader in Maj'Dul ( -225, 160, -92 ) Copy/waypoint -225, 160, -92.
   2. Ukaskis the Trader has asked that I locate a jagged diamond dagger to complete a work order issued some time ago. Runnyeye: The Gathering. ( 114, 30, -952 ) Copy/waypoint 114.37, 29.66, -951.65 The dagger is on the floor by the mender, past the 2nd bosses room. (The dagger is at (-23.86 0.96 -28.55) in a small room North of the Trophy Room and Snok Eyegouger <The Eye Poking Champion.> The Mender is a Gigglegibber Merchant <Stuffs and Fixes.> He sells junk as well as being a mender.)
   3. Return to Ukaskis the Trader in Maj'Dul.
