The gnomes of Ak'Anon once kept a zoo, and the zoo is one feature of the city the clockworks made few changes to. Beings the clockworks have captured out in Steamfont Mountains are brought to the zoo and stuck in cages that are more like underground pens or jail cells. Unlike the gnomes, the clockworks are less interested in watching the living beings they capture than they are in taking to The Research Lab and cutting them open so they can study the function of organics' organs.
