Requirements

• Must be level 8 of one Ascension class to start the quest
• Chains of Eternity Timeline for legitimate Harrow's End access - specifically the Shades of Drinal Timeline
• The Bone Bladed Claymore Heritage Quest
  • Pre-req to Bone Bladed Claymore is A Key to the Past.
  • Note: You do not need to finish A Key to the Past, just have to start the quest and get the claymore.

Steps

1. Bring the Empowered Bone-Bladed Claymore to the Captain ( Bone-Bladed Claymore update the quest, no need to bring an Empowered version ).
2. Click the altar in the middle of the room.
3. Examine and drink the Potion of Transcendence of Mind. You will get ported into the Final Ritual zone.
4. Find Gynok at ( -18, -24, 263 ) Copy/waypoint -18.13, -23.78, 262.52, listen to him talk, then follow him
5. I should figure out how to release Slaviss' mind - quest step. Click five items in order, get an orange text after each one to know you clicked in the right sequence. If you clicked it in the wrong order, you can reset the items (making them clickable again) by dusting off the statue at ( -62, -14, 145 ) Copy/waypoint -62, -14, 145
   1. A knight's bloodied skull: ( -12, -14, 203 ) Copy/waypoint -11.51, -14.16, 202.54
   2. A Shield: ( 11, -14, 145 ) Copy/waypoint 10.78, -14.46, 145.44
   3. A Marrskeep Hammer: ( 35, -17, 134 ) Copy/waypoint 35.27, -16.66, 134.36
   4. A Dagger: ( 67, -17, 128 ) Copy/waypoint 66.86, -16.66, 128.32
   5. A Chestplate: ( 3, -24, 272 ) Copy/waypoint 2.73, -23.78, 272.24
6. Talk to Slaviss. ( -18, -14, 222 ) Copy/waypoint -17.81, -14.46, 221.80
7. Return to the Keep. Talk to the Captain about the missing details.
8. Search for someone known as the Great Ancestor in Obol Plains.
   • Lord William Taros ( 54, 73, -98 ) Copy/waypoint 54, 73, -98
     • must have completed the Chains of Eternity sig line
9. Return to the Captain and find out what is going on.
10. The keep is empty! Click on the mug on the first table on the right.
11. Click the door to zone into the Protector's Quarters. ( -97, 45, -79 ) Copy/waypoint -97, 45, -79
12. Click on the Tactician's corpse ( 163, 17, -90 ) Copy/waypoint 163, 17, -90 to get Valorous Protection Medal - protects the caster from powerful magics!
13. Talk to, then kill the Captain.( 157, 17, -66 ) Copy/waypoint 157, 17, -66
    • Note: You should hot bar the Valorous Protection Medal to kill the Captain
14. Gate back to The Keep and go back to where the Captain used to stand ( -200, 45, -84 ) Copy/waypoint -200, 45, -84. Gorynn spawns and you get your reward.
