You must be level 35 to complete this quest.
All members in your group must have this quest in order to access The Haunted Vaults. If they don't have the quest, they won't receive an update for acquiring the access key.
You must be able to understand Serilian to read the note on the door leading to the Haunted Vaults.

Enter the Stormguard Hall in Kaladim. ( 183, 17, -97 ) Copy/waypoint 183, 17, -97
Find the entrance to The Haunted Vaults. ( 196, 17, -94 ) Copy/waypoint 196, 17, -94
Complete the access quest, Burning the Black Sun Grizzly Rug, which is started by clicking on the bear rug.
- If you have done this quest before, you will have to do it again or you can pan your camera down and right-click the hatch underneath the rug.
Kill any Terrok warlord to acquire the key to the vaults. ( 161, 17, -65 ) Copy/waypoint 160.5, 17, -64.5
Enter The Haunted Vaults.
Click the 'Adamant Chest of Thex' (red chest). ( 179, 18, -60 ) Copy/waypoint 179, 18, -60
Kill the three skeletons in the throne room ( 197, 17, -95 ) Copy/waypoint 197, 17, -95, in order to spawn three NPC dwarf ghosts. Complete the subquests that they offer:
Open the Adamant Chest of Thex. ( 179, 18, -60 ) Copy/waypoint 179, 18, -60
Return to Commander O.C. Irontoe in Butcherblock Mountains. ( -200, 221, -117 ) Copy/waypoint -200, 221, -117
Enter Kaladim and slay the undead troll Xicotl! ( -37, 25, -99 ) Copy/waypoint -36.5, 24.5, -98.5
Return to Commander O.C. Irontoe.
