This appears to be a straight up tank and spank. Spelobanzeothitem paths along the water so you may encounter him mid-pathing at which point you engage. Periodically he emotes "You have been seized by the indecipherably-named tendrils!". You will be rooted then pulled/summoned to him. Just cure and DPS him down. I did not notice any adds during my fight.
Did it on inq so sloooow burn. He spawn fractured speleothem. I saw 4+ during my fight. Constant "No hostile spells" dot.
