Notes

• Do this quest alongside Audience with the Guardian, since they require similar quest targets and you formerly needed to complete it to access Deathtoll.

Steps

1. Kill Prophet of The Slashing Talon:
   1. Kill aviaks on the first floor until an Ornate Slashed Eye drops (uncommon chest drop).
   2. Use the Ornate Slashed Eye on the Effigy of the Slashing Talon to spawn Prophet of The Slashing Talon.
      • Globules of 'accumulating energy' will spawn and begin to revolve around the statue at the center of the room. After a couple minutes the big globule will die and the prophet swill spawn where the NPC was.
2. Kill Ancient of the Flapping Wing:
   1. Kill aviaks on the second floor until an Ornate Winged Eye drops (uncommon body drop).
   2. Use the Ornate Winged Eye on the Effigy of The Flapping Wing to spawn Ancient of the Flapping Wing.
3. Harvest the following items:
   • First Floor: 8 'gem of the flapping wing'
   • Second Floor: 8 'claw of the slashing talon'
4. return to the statue on the first floor and inspect the base. ( -3, -1, 4 ) Copy/waypoint -3, -1, 4

• The Totem of Aaryonar (Required by the quest Feeding the Flames)
• One of the following:
  • Steeldown's Alloy Chestguard
  • Ancient Plate of Karana
  • Small Carving of Aaryonar
  • Razorwing's Bandolier
