What does this information mean?

Steps

1. Speak with Falizar D'Narin in The Eye of Dartain.
2. Collect 10 pieces of the geodes, an uncommon update from boulder dashers and summoned bastions in The Petrified Badlands.
3. Return to Falizar.
4. Collect the resonating heart from Kluhb, the Seal Guard-Champion in The Hole.
5. Return to Falizar.
6. Click the platform at ( 1798, -0, 4308 ) Copy/waypoint 1798.02, -0.44, 4307.85 and speak with a projected erudite.
7. Return to Falizar.

Bug and Correction

This quest does not start with Delinah Khahiz as noted above, but is given to the player as you finish The Footsteps of Dartain: Emergence, as part of the dialogue with Pleni Mas'arc in Paineel. A bug exists which makes the player unable to obtain this quest: If a player does not completely finish the dialogue with Pleni following the finish of "Emergence," (for example, by hitting escape to close dialogues) Pleni will not respond again and the new "Observation" quest is unobtainable.
