The Cove of Decay - Prison Break

This quest is also part of the Ruins of Varsoon Timeline.
Adventurers formerly had to complete this questline in order to gain access to the instance, Cove of Decay. This is no longer required, however adventurers may still obtain and complete the quest series.

Steps[]

Obtain the key to Cell Five and Cell Six, dropped from Varsoon guards that spawn in the same room.
- To save time, try to accept the quest without clearing the room of the guards.
- Guards in the north jail can also drop the keys. ( -259, 8, -145 ) Copy/waypoint -259, 8, -145
Go back to Thana Rumblehoof to release them from their prison cell.
They will lead you back to the entrance. Follow them, or they wont move further.
- Note: Be prepared for respawns on the way back to the entrance.
- Possible Bug: Make sure you run behind them or the quest may bug near the entrance.
When you reach the entrance talk to Thana Rumblehoof again. She will inform you to seek out Chieftain Kraughl in the The Thundering Steppes ( 88, 0, 1384 ) Copy/waypoint 88, 0, 1384. Speaking to him will initiate the second quest in this series.
