These volcanic islands, shrouded in eternal twilight, have been infested by many nightmarish creatures. Strong bands of adventurers may discover the fates of the ancient dragons, Lord Vyemm and Tarinax the Destroyer.
Lore[]
This volcanic region of the Overrealm sits in eternal darkness, and holds the most secure secrets of the Empire of the Awakened. Deep within the islands may be found The Halls of Fate, The Blackscale Sepulcher, The Den of the Devourer, The Laboratory of Lord Vyemm, and even the feared Deathtoll.
Throughout the zone purple ooze, called wurndrom, can be seen meandering atop the islands. This is raw dragon essence, and is all that remains of the many dragon corpses that litter the Bonemire. While their true motives remain unclear, the Quellithulian Enclave have taught the droag how to harness the wurndrom into a weapon, allowing it to transform forms of dragonkind into even more powerful and terrible creatures. What becomes abundently clear, is that the droag in service of the Awakened intend to use these foul creations, along with their own endless legions, to invade the surface world of Norrath and ignite the Age of Scale.
Geography[]
To reach the Bonemire, and the other zones of the Overrealm, you must use an Ulteran Spire. Simply click on the portal at the center of any Spire in the world and a game map will open up, allowing you to teleport to the connected Spire within the Bonemire. There were originally six Ulteran Spires spread throughout the Shattered Lands, with the ones in The Enchanted Lands and The Feerrott being the only ones that would teleport you directly into the Bonemire. However, post-LU56 all the Spires opened up to each other and since then Bonemire can be accessed from any one.

Travel[]

The zone is split into floating islands. To travel between them, click on the cloud teleporters that can be located via the in-game map.
Town[]
The safe camp in the zone is the Drednever Crash Site, where a gnome expedition has come upon hard times. A few town services are provided here, such as a merchant and mender.
