Strategy

This is a short dungeon with no special mechanics aside from the final boss.

The final boss of this dungeon is Grash and two other droags, Tival and Timant. To get him to spawn, you must enter the cavern at ( 166, -18, -1 ) Copy where there will be four random Blackscale droags positioned around a central pillar. These can either be a Plague Bearer, Firebrand, Razorwing or Steward. You must repeatedly kill all four droags except for any Stewards. Those must be kept alive, so that you end up with Blackscale Stewards in each of the four positions.

The typical strategy in a group is to use crowd control (e.g.: root and/or mesmerize spells) to engage any Stewards which have spawned, while killing the others. It is important to note that you cannot simply leave the Stewards alone because they will despawn and be replaced with another type of droag. You must engage them so they will not despawn. After you have all four Stewards engaged, kill them simultaneously and Grash will spawn.

Notes

If you are soloing this dungeon, or are alone with a mercenary, the final boss can present a problem because you must keep the Stewards engaged. If you have crowd control spells, you can use those while killing the other droags as quickly as possible. However, your mercenary should be put on passive and only attack what you explicitly direct it to, otherwise it will kill the Stewards you have engaged.

If you have an enchanter, you can use mesmerize spells but you must engage the Stewards first and then mesmerize them. If you simply mesmerize them when they spawn without engaging them, they can despawn and will be replaced by a placeholder. In a group, you'll likely need two classes that can root and/or mesmerize to keep three of the Stewards locked down while you wait for the fourth to spawn.

While it is possible that you could simply kill all four droag placeholders simultaneously and hope they respawn as Stewards in each location, this is highly random and may take some time to complete. Engaging the Stewards as they spawn tends to be the more reliable strategy.

If you are a soloing the dungeon as a fighter class, it is recommended you disable autoattack (this can be done in your Character Options), enable Singular Focus and taunt the Stewards as they spawn, then turn your back to them. If you are a pet class, you may need to dismiss your pet until you have all four Stewards engaged and are ready to kill them.

If you don't have self-heals, a healer mercenary would be most practical for this dungeon. You will eventually have three heroic level 69 droags attacking you, so you will need the appropriate gear and healing to be able to withstand those attacks.

If you are mentored down to level 70, or the dungeon is grey to you, then this encounter will be trivial and you won't need to worry about using a mercenary. You can simply engage the Stewards, let them attack you and they will do minimal damage, if they do any damage to you at all.

The droags in the cavern respawn every 2-3 minutes, and you can expect it to take up to 15 minutes to complete the process to have all four Stewards spawned.
