The herald of Terris-Thule has informed me that summoning an Avatar requires the land to be attuned to their element. To achieve this, altars have been set up around the region, but they need to be supplied with power. I have been asked to assist with this by collecting objects infused with the essence of slain foes and offer them to an altar.
- Collect 3 infused nightmare shards (random body drop from most mobs in Splendor Sky Aerie)
- Use the infused nightmare shards and empower an altar. Random spawn in Darklight Wood, its yellow sparkles visible far away, possible locations of altar
