My vote is its the "large crabs" which are spawns off of killing the normal crabs. i've been in that area for over 4 hours killing sirens before, never saw him. yet evertime i have to go over there killing the crabs, he shows up. --UberFuzzy 03:04, 3 July 2007 (CEST) ok, its DEFINATLY the crabs, probly the large crabs which are spawned by killing the smaller crabs --UberFuzzy 22:42, 13 July 2007 (CEST)

I tried all the tricks listed. Was on the beach at 11:30am game time, checked if he returned every two hours, tried killing the hawks when that didnt work. No dice. Found myself harvesting early morning, waiting to try the 11:30 bit again when he popped: 4am sharp. There was no one else in the zone and I hadn't killed a thing.
