During Beta, I found that completing the following was needed here:
- Assay of Origin.
- Ore of Yore.
- More Ore of Yore.
- The three quests from the Duality: "Underfoot Defender", "Subtunarian Subterfuge" and "Into the Unknown".
- The two quests from Brytthel in Thalumbra: "Stranger in Distress" and "Menace in the Mine".
- The four quests from Brumley Langboom in Maldura: "Scanning the Seals", "Monitoring the Situation", "Attuning the Portal" and "Monitor Malfunction".
- The two quests from Brytthel in Maldura: "Researching a Solution" and "Containing the Stone".
These form one continuous linear quest sequence, and once it was complete, the quest 'What Lies Beneath' then updated and told me to head back to Ethan on the Isle of Mara to complete the quest.
