Is it really part of the Fallen Swords Timeline? Seems like, since it is essentially just a pre-quest for access to the CoE content, it should probably not be part of any timeline. Also, although I'm not 100% certain, I don't think that The War of Skyshrine: Keeping Enemies Close is a requirement for beginning this quest.Necrotherian (talk) 21:42, November 15, 2012 (UTC)

Well, one of the things we could do if people didn't feel it was truly part of the timeline is we could keep it in the appropriate Previous/Next portions of the question box and simply remove the entry in the Timeline slot, but then include a note at the top of the quest indicating that it isn't part of the timeline but it MUST be completed in the exact order. The note is particularly important because we have so many fabulous editors who try to fill in the blanks. If we take it out, someone may try to fill it in again.
Also, when we spoke with Holly Windstalker on a Fansite conference call and also to the Devs at SOE Live, they all referred to the quest as being required. Timelines, however, are *our* construct. SOE doesn't really think of them that way. I got the impression that they thought of them more as "quest progression hubs" of sorts, or quest clusters in series if that's easier to think of.--Kodia (talk) 23:28, November 15, 2012 (UTC)
You do not need to complete The War of Skyshrine (although I want to) to start this quest. This quest is needed for CoE content, though. Haven't done The War of Skyshrine because my main is still on the Fallen Swords: Drunder quest. Benj (talk) 01:21, November 16, 2012 (UTC)

I'm adding the location for the SQ version up in the How to start field and removing it from the notes. Necrotherian (talk) 06:35, December 2, 2012 (UTC)
