channel cleansers[]
Well, I've been killing channel cleansers for about an hour now and confirm the following;
- 1 out of 5 drops "an accumulation of plasma"
- 4 out of 5 drop nothing
- There is one cleanser in the central channel
- There are two cleansers in the channel that leads to the "City Center"
- The respawn rate for all three is about 2m 30s
What I cannot confirm is that they drop any runes... I haven't seen one, never mind a set of three. Sakshale (talk) 06:42, December 8, 2012 (UTC)

I went back and restarted the quest by examining the tablet again. Channel Cleansers gained feathers and started dropping the runes. I apparently was bugged. Sakshale (talk) 21:37, December 16, 2012 (UTC)
I just did this and the only channel cleanser that dropped the rune was the one that spawns in the Pool of Purity. The other two cleansers down the aquaduct to City Center had feathers but didn't drop any runes. The one from the Pool dropped a rune each time and just took three spawns of him (2-3 minutes at most) to finish the step. Vagar (talk) 21:55, August 9, 2013 (UTC)
The Channel Cleansers May Not Needed![]
I finally was able to complete Punja's Progression and gain access to Thalbinous ( 424, 48, 538 ) . He was visible and had the quest feather over his head... I now have the Tending to the Garden quest.
