The tainted soil can also be found all around the Ruins of Karana near the southern entrance to the Ruins of Varsoon. The orcs also don't seem to be so very rare. I only had to kill 11 to get all 8 updates.--Fooph 07:47, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
I found that starting from the southern entrance to RoV and going along the wall in an arc toward the northern entrance worked very well -- quick and easy.
