The wanderer is not in the same encounter as the plant, it just seems that way since they are close together. Having just done this quest 7 or 8 times in a row, I can verify this 100%!

Added stages 2-4 for clarity (especially for low-level players). Comment: I find this the easiest quest to do for Betrayal to Freeport. --92.239.145.24 20:19, December 22, 2009 (UTC) Pinwheel (Scout 13 at time of quest)|Splitpaw (EU)

Best max faction quest to do at level 90[]

This is the easiest of all of them, in my opinion, since the mobs inside the actual zone are gray, you only have to kill one to get the key and then boot in and out. The cellar door's location in proximity to the down below sewer grate is easy, and you don't run into any of the epic guards.

But I wound up using the Atonica dock bell to zone into Castleview and then straight accross to the sewer beside the bank in Qeynos Harbour .. then over to Eldar.

The only negative about this particular quest is the running around you have to do, but on a flying mount, it takes no time at all.

Highly recommend this one of all the quests to pick because it gives 5K faction per run, and you can pick it over and over again, simply by hailing the NPC until you get it. In all, it took me about 40 minutes to complete my betrayal to Freeport.

for me the barrel of explosives at the end didn't kill me. so i just called to guild and went out that way.

as well, i liked to start the quest by going to the docks the using small bell to zone to Nettleville. the grate to the down below is right at the top of the stair aka: /waypoint 663.14, -22.37, 335.11
