This may be the root of the confusion about the Loyalty Merchants[]
This page is the reason I added the pages for the Freeport version of the merchants. More than one of my guild members has asked me what the tokens are for/where to spend them, after they land here via Google (since they just Google the currency name). See the Talk page for Noble Tark Validus for more discussion about this. Until it's all sorted, I figured it was better to have a genericised description of where to go without the NPC names linked/a loose description of what they sell, until things are sorted. - I tried to make the information about Noble Toowik Mclure and Noble Tark Validus clearer. I think the labels Veteran Merchant and Loyalty Merchant might have been a source of confusion because the label for Veteran Merchant appears to have been removed from the game. - You might be onto something there. Also, nice edits! I've tried to put some of the genericised into on all of the many, many pages we have floating around about these NPCs. I think I might grab the description from the discombobulation article and bring them over here.
- While I am thinking of it, do we have an article out there on the double tokens benefit for gold subs? They made that permanent recently and it might be handy to have a page or a template to link in in places it applies. I'm thinking of the old insert we had (still have on many pages) for EQ2x when they first added F2P to the game, that described limitations for silver and bronze players. You wikifu may be greater than mine, so let me know if you (or someone else creates that) and I'd be happy to track down pages/places it would be helpful.
