The information here is not right and it won't properly allow editting at the moment. The excavation helmets DO NOT work to see these shinies. The only way to see them as of 4/21/15 is to use the Draught of Clear Sight that must be bought off the city merchant for 275k status. Not sure if this was intentional. Crappy if it is. I tested this to verify stood in a spot where i knew one could appear with the helm on and saw nothing.
