Setting foot on his floor will pull him and all the adds. If you want them one at a time, look for "a swirling mass" and attack it (but don't kill it) in order to get one of the adds to come.

He doesn't melee-hit very hard. His arcane-based AOEs only hit hard if your resists are under 12-15K, but anyone planning to stand in front of him should be prepared to get hit a lot harder.

When the red message goes up, he roots himself in place and gives the raid 3 or 4 seconds before he casts a 20 meter 360-degree AOE. Use that time to get away from him if you don't want to get hit with it. AOE blockers (turnstrike, bladedance, t-shell) will block the effect. Damage absorbing spells (stoneskin, stone deaf, etc.) will absorb the damage but will not prevent the knockback/knockup.

He has about 40 million HP and is the most straight-forward fight in the zone. 21:08, October 17, 2010 (UTC)
