From what I have seen, Saltscale is the item name shown in the pattern's examine window, while Kedge is the version that is actually purchased. In addition, Kedge has more resolve and better stats overall. I have heard in game that the Kedge armor is an automatic upgrade granted to All Access subscribers. Non-subscribers would get the Saltscale armor from the examine window. Can anyone confirm this?

The same upgrade occurs in the T2 Heroic gear. The pattern and examine windows show Coral as the name, but the actual armor pieces are Oceanlord. Both pieces have 70 resolve, but the Oceanlord items are otherwise better. [[User:Strongmind|Benj]] ([[User talk:Strongmind|talk]]) 04:45, February 10, 2019 (UTC)

Saltscale vs Kedge armor[]

From what I have seen, Saltscale is the item name shown in the pattern's examine window, while Kedge is the version that is actually purchased. In addition, Kedge has more resolve and better stats overall. I have heard in game that the Kedge armor is an automatic upgrade granted to All Access subscribers. Non-subscribers would get the Saltscale armor from the examine window. Can anyone confirm this? Benj (talk) 21:37, January 12, 2019 (UTC)
