bonesplint spitters[]
As of 19 January, 2010, this quest is seriously bugged. Trying to approach them to melee causes the smaller spitter mobs to die from pain and suffering and the larger mobs to die without giving any experience. Best way to ensure 2 updates per set of mobs is to attack the larger with a ranged weapon, kill it and hope for an experience update, and then kill the two smaller ones with ranged weapons (which will each give an update). You can go wading through them all and using a melee AOE, but 66%+ of the mobs will die without giving an update. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jrel (talk • contribs)
Jan 27, 2010 - 'A Spitter's Venom' is not bugged. The big spiders are not spitters so they will not give updates. The tiny spider are spitters. If you step on a tiny spitter it will be crushed and will die so of course it will not update. You can melee but you have to be careful not to step on and squish the spitters.
