I've had this quest for years (since about 2006, I think). I've killed a great many crafters in the Palace of the Awakened, and have not seen a single one of these 'uncommon' bronze drops.
My impression is that this quest is indeed a broken predicament, with the emphasis on the 'broke.' Seefar 16:55, February 6, 2010 (UTC)
I got the 4 bronze pieces out of 5 crafter kills, so maybe it's fixed now. Gemtwist 04:21, December 3, 2010 (UTC)
