Gather 12 souls from the Bloody Battlegrounds
Just kill all the wandering skeletons at the locations listed below, then go to the Bloody Battlegrounds where you will witness the ghostly battle.

At the the Bloody Battlegrounds, engage the non-aggro human spirits that now populate the area. Kill them one at a time, or in multiples if you can survive the fight. Each one that you kill will leave a spirit behind. You then use the phylactery on each spirit, until you have collected all 12.

Kill a wandering skeleton in the forest near the Bloody Battlegrounds to start this event. Then kill the remaining 8 skeletons for the event to start. They spawn on "a Pile of Bones" and the placeholders are "a Fallen warrior".
