- There are conflicting reports regarding the spawn. Some reports indicate that he will spawn every 36 Earth minutes (half a Norrathian day), others once a full Norrathian day (72 Earth minutes). However, other people have reported to have waited more than 72 minutes and still nothing spawned.
- If you are trying to complete the related quest, Capturing Day and Night, you can farm A Silver Dragon scale from Keeper of Silence in The Poets Palace. This will offer a quest that will allow you to spawn Siyamak in Maj'Dul. The scale is a rare drop, however it allows you a guaranteed spawn of Siyamak.
