What does this information mean?
I should travel to the Sandstone Delta using the potion that I was given and speak to Shahin at Feldar Farm. If I feel like the area nearby is unsafe, then I should also purchase an extra teleport potion as soon as I arrive.

- Either harvest or otherwise acquire:
- 25 Apatite Gem
- 12 Bonytail Chub
- 27 Brittlebush Taproot
- 12 Cactus Fruit
- 15 Desert Willow Wood
- 30 Dustmaw Hide
- 50 Pallasite Ore
- Bring along this fuel (or use a summon fuel merchant item):
- 15 Astral Coal
- 15 Astral Incense
- 15 Astral Kindling
- Bring along these portable workstations (or use the summon workstation AAs):
Steps[]
- Zone into the Sandstone Delta by using Call of the Delta potion that Hamdi gives you at the end of the previous quest (will place you right next to Shahin).
- Speak to Shahin at Feldar Farm ( 757, 114, -445 )
- If you have to return to the farm afoot from the carpet at Sandstone Landing:
- Take the ramp up around ( 583, 25, 154 ) .
- There's a fork at ( 648, 68, 99 ) -- go straight, and if you're low level, be prepared to dodge hostile mobs, or use invis/stealth to get around, whether it's a profession spell or something like Totem of the Chameleon.
- Cross the river and continue following the path to the farm ( 681, 114, -389 ) .
- Once you reach Shahin, you can purchase additional teleport potions Call of the Delta for 2p each from Tarkin at ( 751, 116, -454 ) .
- Recipes for this quest were already autoscribed at the end of the previous quest.
- If you have to return to the farm afoot from the carpet at Sandstone Landing:
- Make the Desert Forge on a summoned/portable work bench. You will need:
- 20 Pallasite Ore
- 15 Dustmaw Hide
- 5 Astral Coal
- Make the Desert Stove and Keg on a summoned/portable work bench. You will need:
- Make the Desert Engraved Desk on a summoned/portable work bench. You will need:
- Place the equipment by clicking the green sparkles immediately behind Shahin.
- Speak to Shahin.
- Make 3 Pest Repellent Scroll on the engraved desk inside the small hut next to Shahin. For each combine you will need:
- 5 Apatite Gem (15 total)
- 2 Brittlebush Taproot (6 total)
- 5 Dustmaw Hide (15 total)
- 5 Astral Incense (15 total)
- Speak to Shahin.
- Make 3 Water Purification Tablet on the stove inside the small hut by Shahin. For each combine you will need:
- 2 Brittlebush Taproot (6 total)
- 4 Bonytail Chub (12 total)
- 4 Cactus Fruit (12 total)
- 5 Astral Kindling (15 total)
- Speak to Shahin.
- Note: Don't forget to purchase Call of the Delta from Tarkin ( 752, 116, -455 ) before you leave!
- Return to Jaranna Thistlebloom at ( -81, -2, 106 ) inside the pub in the Village of Shin to complete the quest.

You can purchase the other desert crafting tables from Merih Najafi in Raj'Dul Plateau ( 144, -60, 583 ) after completing this quest.
Unlocking Flight[]
After completing the main tradeskill signature quests, you unlock public researcher missions in Raj'Dur Plateaus, Takish Badlands, and Sandstone Delta. You will be unable to fly in any of these overland zones until you complete at least 15 of these research missions (combined -- so for instance, you can do 5 missions for each researcher to unlock flight), or by unlocking flight via the adventurer signature timeline.
The research missions are on a 3-hour timer that is universal for your server. To see how much time until the mission resets, go into your quest journal, click the "Mission Timers" tab at the top, filter for Renewal of Ro, and type in the word "research" in the filter by name bar at the bottom.
