Background

I should keep my eye out for these rank insignia to properly identify each soldier or officer. Once I have this information I can give it to Gaer Torrent.

Notes

• You will be randomly offered the quest after killing a Blacktalon initiate. Keep killing them on the first floor and the quest will eventually pop.

Steps

1. Kill various mobs to acquire each of the ranks. The mobs will drop (auto-update) the rank insignia on the first kill:
   • Rank 1 - a Blacktalon initiate
   • Rank 2 - a Blacktalon palace guard
   • Rank 3 - a Blacktalon disciple
   • Rank 4 - a Blacktalon coadjutant
   • Rank 5 - a Blacktalon palace knight
   • Rank 6 - a Blacktalon partisan
   • Rank 7 - a Blacktalon vanquisher
   • Rank 8 - a Bloodscale enforcer
   • Rank 9 - a Bloodscale high priest
   • Rank 10 - a Bloodscale shadowslayer
   • Rank 11 - a Bloodscale dreadknight
