Search for nine stones with which you can play a game with her. These stones spawn randomly around large rock formations around the camp. They appear as black river stones and are difficult to see. It is best to dismount and zoom in your camera. Fortunately, they respawn after a couple minutes. Known locations are:

( 800, 110, -329 Copy /waypoint 799.71, 110.19, -329.36
( 849, 125, -397 Copy /waypoint 849, 125, -397
( 797, 119, -388 Copy /waypoint 796.79, 118.98, -388.10 Return to Ootani and give her the stones.
Play tic-tac-toe with her. After you win speak to her for update.
If you were that one kid in second grade that kept losing tic-tac-toe, follow this strategy:
Place your first stone in any corner.
Place your second stone in the corner diagonal from where you placed your first.
Place your third stone in the middle and win. If Ootani placed stone in the middle, then place your third stone in an available corner.
Place your fourth stone in the middle along the side that would give you the win.
