Neeta asks you to travel to the Overrealm to the The Barren Sky, to a special instance of the The Nest of the Great Egg (located near the center of Whisperwind Isle).
Neeta says: "I hear that it might be possible to acquire a number of items from their collections; specifically, I'd like you to look for a sample of their cloth, which is said to be incredibly soft. Take a look also for any weapons that might be used as a mistletoe-cutting sickle, and any information you can find about how they forge their smithy hammers."
Note: With default LvL110 BoL gear the monster are one-hit-kills even for a healer.
Note: This instance contains powerful vultaks (10-20 levels higher than you). However, the first two moving vultaks have a very short aggro range, so you should be able to walk past them if you are very careful. The stationary ones have a normal aggro range that can easily surprise you when you are trying to harvest feathers.
Collect the recipe book Vultak Anatomy: An Illustrated Guide from the bookshelf in the first room on the right ( 17, 86, 34 ) Copy/waypoint 17, 86, 34.
Harvest brown ( 23, 85, -3 ) Copy/waypoint 23, 85, -3, white ( -2, 86, 9 ) Copy/waypoint -2, 86, 9, and bicolored vultak feathers ( 0, 85, 28 ) Copy/waypoint 0, 85, 28 from the floor in the main room.
Note: the white feather active area is very small. I died twice trying to find it. See Discussion Page. As of 9/12/2013 my fairly well geared 95 SK was able to kill 110 level mobs while searching for disguise components. At 100 with quest gear from Kunark Rising they died in one swing.
Obtain thread filaments from the upturned chair ( 3, 86, 14 ) Copy/waypoint 3, 86, 14.
Craft a vultak disguise from the feathers at the magical Hooluk loom ( 25, 86, 14 ) Copy/waypoint 25, 86, 14 in the room where you got the recipe.
Use the vultak disguise to take on the illusion of a vultak. This illusion lasts an hour, and does not break if you get close to a vultak.
Note: You must craft the item, but you don't have to use it. As level 100 just kill em, they die kinda easy. Even as a level 95 warlock with not impressive gear, they are one hit kills and do almost no damage.
Collect the materials Neeta has requested.
Collect sample of fine fabric from the carpets on the floor at ( 0, 57, -49 ) Copy/waypoint 0, 57, -49 on the floor below in an alcove to the north.
Collect an antique sickle from the spear stand half way down the corridor at ( 104, 57, 12 ) Copy/waypoint 104, 57, 12. The repulsors are active, so you may need to avoid them if falling damage is an issue.
Collect a smithy hammer recipe from the bookcase in the end room at ( 197, 57, 19 ) Copy/waypoint 197, 57, 19.
