What does this information mean?

Notes

• This quest is part 1 of an 11-quest series in the Bloodline Chronicles Timeline, which grants you access to The Crypt of T'haen along the way.
• Be sure to select The Tombs of Night: A Search For Answers, not The Tombs of Night, as the latter instance will not spawn the required named monsters.
• The quest listed as a prerequisite, The D'Morte Family Crest, is not required to start this quest. Although in terms of lore progression it is recommended that it be started beforehand.

Steps

1. You must collect four scout reports inside The Tombs of Night: A Search For Answers. The reports are found on wounded scouts in the zone. These are spawned by killing specific named monsters. Once the named monster is dead, simply click on the scouts body that spawns somewhere nearby to receive the quest update.
   • The Mold Reaper: Spawns at the end of a ring event involving mist grinnin sporechanters at ( 78, 6, 3 ) Copy/waypoint 78, 6, 3
   • Gulp (you can jump off the Forgotten Tears ( 58, -1, 108 ) Copy/waypoint 58, -1, 108):
     1. Kill the 4 groups of mist grinnin netslingers on the lowest level ( 60, -40, 58 ) Copy/waypoint 60, -40, 58, ( -4, -41, 62 ) Copy/waypoint -4, -41, 62, ( -21, -41, 18 ) Copy/waypoint -21, -41, 18, and ( -9, -41, -4 ) Copy/waypoint -9, -41, -4
     2. Kill the 2 groups of grinnins that spawn at ( 33, -41, 122 ) Copy/waypoint 33, -41, 122 and ( 20, -41, 102 ) Copy/waypoint 20, -41, 102
     3. Kill Gulp, who spawns with Lureclaw the Angler, at the base of the waterfall ( 54, -41, 107 ) Copy/waypoint 54, -41, 107
   • Chief Strongarm:
     1. Kill all 7 groups of mist grinnin ruffians in The Maw of Mortality ( 20, -23, 95 ) Copy/waypoint 20, -23, 95 and the nearby caves ( -20, -24, -92 ) Copy/waypoint -20, -24, -92 and ( -67, -24, -69 ) Copy/waypoint -67, -24, -69
     2. Return to the Maw of Motality ( 36, -26, 58 ) Copy/waypoint 36, -26, 58 and kill the 3 groups of mist grinnin summoners with 4 ruffians each that (eventually) run into the POI
     3. Kill the mudrakers that spawn around the NPC version of Chief Strongarm (you might have to hail the NPC to spawn the mudrakers)
     4. Kill Chief Strongarm
   • Dvith N'Zur: Kill him in The Hand of the Crypt ( -74, -32, 116 ) Copy/waypoint -74, -32, 116
2. Return to Trelech Stonehome for your reward.
