Mining is the skill used when harvesting Gemstone or Metal Ore to obtain Ore Harvests or Gemstone Harvests

Picks can be used to improve mining skill or reduce the time it takes to harvest a rock.

Briarwood Pick	30	Woodworker-crafted using a level 37 recipe.	Reduces harvest time for mining by 1 second
Teak Pick	40	Woodworker-crafted using a level 47 recipe.	Reduces harvest time for mining by 1.5 seconds
Sandalwood Pick	50	Woodworker-crafted using a level 57 recipe.	Reduces harvest time for mining by 2 seconds
Redwood Pick	70	Woodworker-crafted using a level 77 recipe.	Reduces harvest time for mining by 2.5 seconds
Miscalibrated Automated Pickaxe	CL30	Tinkerer-crafted using a 160 skill recipe	Reduces harvest time for mining by -1.0 seconds Increases Mining skill by +10

Skill Cap

The skill cap for mining is based on whichever is higher of your adventure level or tradeskill level.

Skill Caps by Level 

• Level * 5 = Cap
  • level 50 * 5 = 250 Cap
  • level 100 * 5 = 500 Cap
  • level 120 * 5 = 600 Cap
