Prerequisites

To enter, you must have completed Visions of Vetrovia: Handle With Scare, Scarytale Ending or have earned the VoV Flag: Mahngavi Wastes Unlock.

Walkthrough

Find Ballentree’s ghost minion, Devorra. NOTE: She only appears after Esmeralda Everghast has been cleared from the instance.

1. Bartus Morrand ( 423, 28, -354 ) Copy/waypoint 423, 28, -354
   • Calls in bandits adds to aid him.
   • Trauma that does 47% health damage per tick every 6 seconds
2. Soul Eater Muhg ( 245, 26, -246 ) Copy/waypoint 245, 26, -246
   • Calls adds. Each successive add gets larger and hits harder. Adds also have force target upon their arrival.
   • Even if you don't kill the adds, the next one will still come.
3. Dremaera Forsaken - Flying winged horse around camp at ( 56, 32, -296 ) Copy/waypoint 56, 32, -296
   • Calls a wail of torment adds. Noxious power drain detriment
4. Take boat on beach ( -31, 6, -480 ) Copy/waypoint -31, 6, -480 to Shattered Monolith Cay.
5. Rune Protector Gorok ( -270, 35, -778 ) Copy/waypoint -270, 35, -778
   • Kill every runic mob on the island or Rune Protector Gorok will summon them all as soon as you engage.
   • Periodically spawns other adds that have force target + interrupt.
   • Also has teleport target + root + force target attack.
6. Take the boat back at ( -236, 6, -715 ) Copy/waypoint -236, 6, -715 and return to Accursed Chantry Island.
7. Esmerelda Everghast ( -617, 16, -366 ) Copy/waypoint -617, 16, -366
   • If the island is not pre-cleared, she will pull in all drowned adds left alive on the island to her.
   • She has 2 everghast mobs with her. She will summon more adds during the fight. Don't worry about them. Kill Esmerelda Everghast first, then kill the adds.
   • She hits really hard. It's easiest to clear the island of adds before starting the fight. Start off by pulling her, and running around the side of the tomb to keep away from her. During the fight, she will teleport you to the top of her tomb. Easy strategy is to hop down from where she ports the player at the very top to the upper rampart just below, and run around the upper rampart in a circle and kite her.
   • Has AOE interrupt + AOE max health damage dot
8. Once Esmeralda is defeated, Devorra will spawn To the West at ( -547, 21, -413 ) Copy/waypoint -547, 21, -413. Speak to her for the update.
9. Exit the zone back to Mahngavi Wastes at ( -649, 19, -303 ) Copy/waypoint -649, 19, -303.
