This is a special currency earned by completing any two Daily Objectives. It was implemented July 23, 2013.
All account levels can gain loyalty point tokens, however there are certain restrictions on what free accounts can spend tokens on. For instance, free accounts can not purchase the bag of 500 platinum reward.
Loyalty Point Tokens are shared across an entire account so if you gain a token, all characters on the account "gain" a token and if you spend a token all characters on that account "spend" a token.
