Notes[]

  • This is an unlimited repeatable quest.
  • The quest starts 1 hour and 1 minute after the previous one ended.
  • The rewards for this quest are based on the player's amount of active participation during the event. Active participation is determined by arrival time, amount of roses picked, roses given, and enemies fought. The number of coins you receive as a reward is the indicator of how well you participated. To ensure you reach maximum reward rank, pick roses and click on the zombie as much as possible as soon as you arrive.

Steps[]

  1. Lead the two dearly departed zombie lovers to their meeting place. ( -527, -48, 64 ) Copy EQ2MAP POI
    • One zombie spawns in the Graveyard Plains. ( 114, -48, -233 ) Copy EQ2MAP POI
    • The other zombie spawns at Turmoil Cemetery. ( -1321, -69, 349 ) Copy EQ2MAP POI
    • The zombies are lead by urging them to move with the smell of roses:
      • When the quest starts, and as the zombies move forward, four differently colored roses spawn around them: red, yellow, black, and purple. Follower of Ullkorruuk will also spawn during the escort, attacking players.
      • Red and yellow roses serve the following functions:
        • Giving a red or yellow rose to a zombie will move the zombie forward for 5 seconds.
          • Each zombie can hold up to six roses and can accept a new one approximately every second. The player can hold two red roses, two yellow roses, and can offer one rose every 10 seconds. This means if you want the zombie to maintain constant movement, then at least two players must be present at each zombie, giving it roses on cooldown. If not, the zombie will constantly start/stop.
          • The zombies have a visual aura that matches the rose color they currently desire. This will cycle every so often during the walk. If you give a zombie the incorrect color, you will be flung high into the air.
            • Since the hand-in cast time is long, occasionally the aura color will switch while the player is in the process of handing over a rose, resulting in the player being flung up.
        • Using a red or yellow rose on a Follower of Ullkorruuk will kill the mob instantly.
          • Killing followers with red or yellow roses is an excellent way to get increased participation credit. Try to mix up this activity with giving the zombies flowers.
      • Purple and black roses increase the spawn rate of Follower of Ullkorruuk. Destroy them by gathering them.
        • Generally you want to leave the purple and black roses alone so that more followers pop so that more people can get increased participation credit.
    • Players can place the red and yellow roses on their hotbar, both to keep track of inventory (max of 2 each in inventory), and also to quick cast (if needed) to destroy hostile followers. For players not wanting to alter/pollute their hotbar, an easy way to tell if you have room to pick up a rose is if its name appears. If you are already at the max of 2 for a particular color, its name will not appear above it. Purple and black roses are always grab-able, so their names will always show.
  2. Once the dearly departed zombie lovers meet, the quest is over and you receive a Treasure Seeker's Sense that allows you to see and open the public quest reward chest within 5 minutes after the quest ends.

Rewards[]

The rewards are separated into three ranks depending on your amount of active participation during the event:

Proactive Loot[]
