Starting the Quest
Most Lore and Legend Quests can be started either with a book or by examining one of the quest items. Find the book, Smiting of the Werewolf, using the location information above. Next, read the book, Smiting of the Werewolf, flip through all the pages, and accept the quest. Once you have accepted the quest you may place the book in your house. You do not need the book to progress the quest.
Steps
- Find the following auto-updating pieces by killing Werewolves in any zone:
- a werewolf eye
- a werewolf ear
- a werewolf spirit
- Find and examine the following tradeable pieces obtained by looting Werewolves in any zone, or buying them from other players
Rewards
- Trophy: Silbern's Sword
- Experience
- Your Master's Strike, Master's Smite, Master's Rage, or Sinister Strike will now affect Werewolves.
Special Notes
- Complete this quest in about ten minutes in The Wolf's Maw area of The Loping Plains - plenty of werewolves there and they re-pop quickly.
- In Darklight Wood, the werewolf ruins has been overun by T'Rethir vampires and their ghoulish slaves. Werewolves have been eradicated from this zone.
- The book Smiting of the Werewolf can be found in the following locations:
- In the jeweler shop in the Village of Somborn in the Loping Plains, at ( -444, 8, -52 )
