Lore[]
Long ago, the Loping Plains were a thriving habitat for a large variety of peaceful creatures. They have since become cursed and twisted by the influence of dark powers. Under the constant shadow of Castle Mistmoore, the inhabitants of these accursed plains toll out their days under pale sunlight. During night, the groans of zombies mix with with shrieks of bat swarms and howls of tormented werewolves to create a symphony of terror for any sentient creature. Most peculiarly, humans and elves inhabit a walled village, called the Village of Somborn, that offers protection for any adventurer seeking a moment of solace in this dreary land.
The dwarven empire from Kaladim at one point extended all the way down to these lower plains of Faydwer

Rather than walking to the Loping Plains, the player can teleport here via Druid Ring or Ulteran Spire.
Town[]
Village of Somborn is the town in this zone, with quests and the standard set of merchants, to include a banker and broker.
