Live Events
What Are Live Events?
These are events that change every month, depending on what is happening with the game. For example, at the time of writing, the Live Event is in line with Halloween, and previously was in line with the Desert of Flames expansion.
These events are only given out by members of the Guide Program or employees of SOE. They will look like normal players, however if you take the time to roleplay with them, they will end up giving you a special quest, resulting in a unique item.
Live Event for October 2005
The Guide plays as someone who wants to have the "creepy creatures", which appear specially for Halloween and through October, catalogued.
Quest Notes
These creatures spawn in both Antonica and The Commonlands, so one will need to travel to both in order to finish.
Quest Reward
Successful completion of this quest results in a book placable in one's home.
Live Event for September 2005
The Guide plays the roll of Tuffin, a gnome pirate who is trying to break his/her ties from the pirate life. The reward for this quest was not announced to members of the Guide Program, although it apparently involved many quests over many NPC's.
