You must speak Krombral (Giant language) in order to receive this quest.
Obsid is a long-winded giant so to see the quest text fully, stand between his feet and look straight up.
Steps[]
Find Tarby Boulderboom, Obsid's pet bear, at ( 509, -19, 484 ) Copy/waypoint 509, -19, 484 in Shattered Gully in The Thundering Steppes.
If Tarby is not there, you'll need to wait for him to spawn (clocked at 15 minutes).
Speak with Tarby to begin a short ring event where three waves of wolves spawn and try to kill him. First wave is five 28even Heroic linked hungry wolves, second is five 29even Heroic hungry wolves, and the final wave is two hungry wolves and A Dire Wolf, all 30even Heroic.
Note: All group members must hail Tarby individually for their own quest-progression.
Important Note: When the wolves spawn, be sure to attack the wolves quickly or they'll attack Tarby, causing him to fight back and lock the encounter. If the wolves manage to kill him, he's on a 15 minutes real time respawn.
Once the wolves are defeated, hail Tarby (have all members time your hails so you don't have to wait for Tarby to respawn) and pick him up.
