What does this information mean?

Starting the Quest

All eligible players will receive a Vigilant Sanctum Key in their Norrathian Mail inbox from Head Scholar Nabihan. Examine the key and "hold the key firmly" to be teleported to The Duality's Vigilant Sanctum and speak with The Duality. If your character has just made level 110, be sure to get at least the starter gear from Myrist, the Great Library, unless you want to die a most painful death. Edit may 2021: Go to Blinding and get the chest there, for higher resolve

NOTE: It is recommended that you complete these 3 Signature Questlines first, so you can make sense of some of the information in this questline. If you dont care for reading the dialogue, then you don't need to do them. Do the Shattered Seas: Refuge Return (the Tranquil/Phantom seas), Legacy of Power: Secrets in an Arcane Land (Plane of Magic), and Elements of Destruction: Pursuit of Justice (Myrist).

Steps

1. Travel to Jarsath Wastes (The bell is the fastest way to get to the docks).
2. Talk to Brind at the docks ( -310, -46, 1401 ) Copy/waypoint -310, -46, 1401 and ask to be sent to "Ancient Vault" or fly/swim to ( -814, -49, 1202 ) Copy/waypoint -814, -49, 1202.
3. Enter Deep Chelsith: Vault of Omens.
4. Make your way through the zone freeing researchers near each name you kill. There are four researchers upstairs, and two downstairs after entering the portal.
   • Note: At the first fork, go right first. At the second fork, go left first. Subsequent names do not appear if you haven't killed the previous ones. Kill the named in the following order:
     1. Adlez the Mighty ( 136, -14, -371 ) Copy/waypoint 136, -14, -371, near a D.I.R.T.Y. researcher ( 129, -18, -309 ) Copy/waypoint 129, -18, -309
     2. Erskellish Bloodarmor ( 478, -17, -445 ) Copy/waypoint 478, -17, -445, near a D.I.R.T.Y. researcher ( 524, -19, -424 ) Copy/waypoint 524, -19, -424
     3. Lucrezzia Mindrazer ( 570, -16, 72 ) Copy/waypoint 570, -16, 72, near a D.I.R.T.Y. researcher ( 470, -22, 0 ) Copy/waypoint 470, -22, 0
     4. Zun'Liako'Va ( 188, -50, 351 ) Copy/waypoint 188, -50, 351 (mana drains), near a D.I.R.T.Y. researcher ( 199, -51, 255 ) Copy/waypoint 199, -51, 255
        • Use the portal at ( 189, -50, 343 ) Copy/waypoint 189, -50, 343 (right behind the 4th named you presumably just defeated) to the lower level
        • Find another a D.I.R.T.Y. researcher ( 751, -143, -373 ) Copy/waypoint 751, -143, -373
     5. Eom'Tek'Zen ( 758, -100, -1008 ) Copy/waypoint 758, -100, -1008, near a D.I.R.T.Y. researcher ( 736, -104, -832 ) Copy/waypoint 736, -104, -832

5. Collect the Shissar artifact at ( 660, -100, -986 ) Copy/waypoint 660, -100, -986 (you can only get the update after killing the final named).

6. Use a Vigilant Sanctum Key to return to The Duality's Vigilant Sanctum and speak with The Duality.
