Investigating Strange Bones

You must complete the quests on Kerra Isle up to Need More Proof and the quests in Stonebrunt Encampment up to An Interesting Find to receive this quest.

Steps

Ghalib has sent you to look for more strange bones like the one you found in the Kejaan's Rill riverbed. You need to kill carnivores for 10 chest-drop updates (a shard of strange bone). Reported drop rates vary, however mobs known to drop these bones include:

- a bristlevine horror ( 463, 150, 2723 ) Copy/waypoint 463, 150, 2723 or a briarroot horror ( 757, -1, 3358 ) Copy/waypoint 757, -1, 3358

- a Toxxulia prowler ( 1282, -42, 3157 ) Copy/waypoint 1282, -42, 3157
- a Toxxulia Guardian or a Toxxulia winged sentinel ( 282, 142, 2840 ) Copy/waypoint 282, 142, 2840
- a crageye stalker
- a Toxic Kobold (located near the Toxxulia Guardian and Toxxulia Winged Sentinel) ( 282, 142, 2840 ) Copy/waypoint 282, 142, 2840

Look around Kejaan's Rill for any sign of what animal the bones could have come from.
- Find Jin'tu at ( 565, 196, 4000 ) Copy/waypoint 565, 196, 4000.
