Journal Steps and Dialogue[]
- Graem Vorbent: "Greetings! I noticed you harvesting out there. Are you interested in trying your hand at making something out of them?"
- Player Character: "Sure, why not? Is it hard?"
- Graem Vorbent: "Nay, not hard at all once you wrap your head around it. But I'm not one to keep talking all day. Why don't you jump in and try it?"
- Player Character: "Okay, what do I do?"
- Graem Vorbent: "Pick up a copy of my lucky charm recipe over there beside me, and scribe it into your recipe book. Then grab some coal from the sack. You'll also need one of the tin clusters and lead clusters that you harvested earlier, and make sure you have them with you in your bags."
- Player Character: "I'll get those items now.
Graem the mender has instructed me to get what I'll need for crafting. There is a recipe on the table, a sack of coal on the ground, and I'll need some of the tin and lead clusters I harvested earlier. I need to get the recipe from the counter near Graem.
I picked up the recipe, and should examine it in my inventory to scribe it. I need to pick up some coal from the sack.
I obtained some coal from the sack. I obtained the supplies I will need. I should scribe the recipe book, and ensure I have a lead and tin cluster in my bag. Then click on the anvil in front of the mender to use it. Select the lucky wolf paw recipe and then click 'Create', then 'Begin'. I should ensure I have a tin and lead cluster in my bags, then use the mender's anvil to craft.
I created a Lucky Wolf Paw charm. Graem the mender is near the griffin tower at Gorowyn Island. I should let him know that I made the lucky wolf paw charm. I should return to Graem once again.
- Graem Vorbent: "How did you make out? Was my recipe simple enough?"
- Player Character: "I made a lucky wolf paw charm!"
- Graem Vorbent: "Congratulations! You seem to have a knack for crafting things, if I do say so. If you're interested in learning more about crafting, you should look up a professional tradeskill tutor who can tell you all the details."
- Player Character: "Thank, I might do that."
Bull has suggested that I speak to the tradeskill tutor once I reach Gorowyn to learn more about crafting. In Gorowyn, the tradeskill tutor can be found in the Wards, the area of Gorowyn where the housing, guildhalls, and tradeskill stations are located. I should find the tradeskill tutor in Gorowyn to learn more about crafting.
- Rozokal Niba'mok: "You have learned how to gather harvests, and whether or not you decide to learn a tradeskill profession, you'll find harvesting can be a useful and profitable pastime. Are you interested in reviewing the crafting process?"
I spoke to the tradeskill tutor to learn more about starting a career in crafting.
