This is the first in a line of quests that have you kill five Named Monsters that will drop quest starters (trinkets), which will give you a quest to collect them all: A Gnollish Trinket. Each quest starter can initiate the quest and once started the other quest starters will not initiate the quest.

Kill 8 rotstuffed scarecrows. Up to three are called by Animator Z'Apha if you are slow killing him; otherwise, they can be found in the Scarecrow Fields ( -1961, -20, 637 ) Copy/waypoint -1961, -20, 637
