Is there a parameter on the collection quest template to mark if a collection quest awards alternate advancement? Jado818 (talk) 16:40, January 27, 2014 (UTC)

Do they all reward AA along with experience? If it's only some we can look to add it, but IIRC they all reward XP the same way so it's assumed under "Experience." --lordebon (talk) 21:51, January 27, 2014 (UTC)

hmmm, I haven't paid much attention to if I got AA exp on every collection quest or not but I could try to look at these more in the future. I think every collection quest is level 10 or higher so it should award AA exp, well unless you are below level 10 I suppose (I don't think you can earn AA until you reach level 10). I haven't done any of the Expert collection quests and can't speak for those. I looked at the Alternate Advancement#How do I earn Alternate Advancement? section and it said "Some collection quests do not award Alternate Advancement" so I wasn't sure if it was just me or if there was confusion about whether collection quests award AA because people turned them in below level 10 and didn't get AA some times.
I think they all probably do award AA and it's just players who turn in the lowbie collection quests at level 1 ~ 9 who sometimes don't receive AA exp. I'd be for removing the message that says "Some collection quests do not award Alternate Advancement" on the AA page. Jado818 (talk) 23:35, January 27, 2014 (UTC)
