Firus began the study of wizardry at a very young age. Before he became adept at conjuring flames he attempted to summon a fireball and unknowingly enchanted his hands with a spell that damaged everything he touched. Luckily the enchantment was temporary but the name "Scorchtouch" stuck none the less!
