*This quest should not be confused with "[[Of Fire and Ice]]", part of the [[Wizard Epic Weapon Timeline]].
*You must speak [[Draconic]] in order to speak with [[Lord Nagafen (Nagafen's Lair)|Lord Nagafen]].
*Only a single person in a group can loot the essence shard from the named drakota.  
*Minimum lock out duration on all three lair instances is 2 days 20 hours.

==Steps==
#Speak to the [[Sage of Ages]] in [[Antonica]].
#Loot a unique essence shard from the corpses of the following [[:Category:Drakota|drakota]]:
#*[[Mjolni, the Bringer of Storms]] within [[Mjolni's Lair]] {{loc|-105|-12|1013}} in [[The Thundering Steppes]] for the [[Essence Shard of Soul]].
#*[[Dythra, the Gloombringer]] within [[Dythra's Lair]] {{loc|-900|-9|337}} in [[The Feerrott]] for the [[Essence Shard of Mind]].
#*[[Ar'ticae, the Frost Maiden]] within [[Ar'ticae's Lair]] {{loc|-105|-23|-283}} in [[Everfrost]] for the [[Essence Shard of Heart]].
#Go to [[The Crypt of Vox]] {{loc|0|13|-377}} within [[Permafrost]] {{loc|107|-4|-1143}} in [[Everfrost]].
#While in the instance, examine the essence shards in <u>exactly</u> the following order:

After learning [[Draconic]] you can talk to [[Lord Nagafen]], which is more easily done than last time by selecting the "Deserted" instance of the Oratorium and walking straight on to his lair.
*When you hail Lord Nagafen make sure you are standing very close to him or you won't get the opening dialogue.
*Also, you may run into a bug with the quest dialogue (ie when you hail Nagafen he says something but does not start a dialogue). Simply re-log your character and the issue may correct itself. Stepping up on his platform (to get closer) may also work.
